You do not need a boat license for any of our boats. The main operator of a boat must have sufficient experience and knowledge of the rules on the water to be able to safely operate the boat and participate in traffic.
Learn to skipper or operate motorboat
If you have no experience or are uncertain about your expertise, you can hire a skipper one day (or a 2 or 3 hour Turbo training) through the organization SSH-Boating (formerly SchipperStart Help). De Hoek Watersport is happy to organize this for you. Of course, everyone who rents a motorboat gets an explanation about the ship in question and the available equipment.
